For The Rolex Submariner Ref. 126619LB In White Gold, What Nickname Has Instagram Decided On?

New Rolex Submariner ref. 126619LB in white gold has gone on sale in time for Christmas. The white gold model is the first time Rolex has released a submariner since the iconic Crown. The case has increased from 40mm to 41mm for the white gold version. The 1mm difference is a gargantuan 1mm in size, sharing its underwater habitat with the Submariners. It's the Cookie Monster or the Tardigrade, depending on who you ask. We asked Instagram what its nickname should be. Our favourites are as follows: Sonic. BMW (or Beemer). Blueberry. Sega. The winner, however, was overwhelmingly clear and it was the CookieMonster. The watch will go on sale from December 20th. The price has not yet been announced but is expected to be around £150,000  . It will be available in time with the current range of Rolex watches from December 19th. It goes on sale worldwide with prices starting at £99,000 and going up to £199,000 in the UK. The timepiece will be on sale at the end of the year on December 21st.

Rolex Submariner ref. 126619LB will have an 18k gold dial with a blue Cerachrom bezel. The 3235 caliber will fit within a 36mm Datejust, just like before. The new Rolex will be on sale in time for Christmas 2015. The Rolex is available to buy now with prices starting at £149,000. Rolex are based on the original Rolex Black Bay Submariners from the 1960s. The British-designed 3235 is the world's only submariner still made by Tudor. It is the only model to have been made by the British manufacturer. It was designed by Sir Ken Robinson, who also designed the original British submariners. TheRolex is on sale now with a limited edition run of just 10,000, with the option to buy a second one for £150,000 with an additional £100,000 option for a second-hand Rolex to buy in the U.S. It will go on sale at the end of this year.

3235 caliber is a solid workhorse with small but significant details like the pallet stones being half as thick as the 3135 caliber. Larger contact surfaces of the escape wheel contribute to an increased power reserve of 70 hours. A still perfect level of detail and an increased ease of servicing puts another green tick for me in the book of acceptance
