What the 126619LB actually is
Introduced with the 2020 Submariner generation, the 126619LB has a 41 mm case in 18ct white gold, a white-gold bracelet, a blue Cerachrom bezel insert and a black dial. It uses Rolex calibre 3235 with a date display and an approximately 70-hour power reserve.[70]
The black dial is important. The model is not simply a blue-dial Submariner under another nickname. When comparing photographs, confirm that the seller is showing the actual reference being offered rather than its predecessor.
How it differs from the Smurf
The earlier white-gold 116619LB is commonly called Smurf and combines a blue dial with a blue bezel. Contemporary coverage of the 126619LB compares that older appearance with the newer black-dial configuration.[70]
The later watch also belongs to the revised 41 mm Submariner generation, with changed case and bracelet proportions.[70] Do not assess the difference solely as one dial colour against another. Try both if fit and wrist presence are important to you.
White gold can look understated
