Sell Your Watch
Considering selling a luxury watch? Start with a clear conversation about the piece, its condition and the documents you have. Prestige Watch offers watch evaluation enquiries at our two Kuala Lumpur boutiques.
What to share before your visit
Useful details help us understand your watch before an in-person assessment. Send what you know; tell us when a detail or document is unavailable.
- Brand and reference: Include the model and reference number, if known.
- Condition: Describe visible wear, known repairs, modifications and any service history you can document.
- Box and papers: Tell us which original packaging, documents, cards and accessories you have, including their condition.
- Clear photos: Show the dial, case, case back, bracelet or strap, clasp and accompanying items.
How to start a selling enquiry
- Send your watch details. Contact us on WhatsApp with photos and the information above.
- Discuss an in-person assessment. Confirm the next step and your preferred outlet. Bring the watch and any accompanying items requested.
- Review the proposed terms. Ask how condition, documentation and the market affect the assessment. Confirm any offer, payment arrangements and timing before agreeing.
Photos provide a starting point. Any preliminary indication is subject to inspection; submitting details does not guarantee an offer or a completed sale.
Authentication requirements
Only authentic, certified watches are eligible for Prestige Watch services. Contact us to confirm the assessment process and documents required for your watch.
Box, papers and service records
Keep any original packaging, documents and accessories together. These help explain what accompanies the watch. Do not describe a watch as a complete set if items are missing.
If you have a watch-only piece, say so in your enquiry. Ask us whether it can be assessed; eligibility and value depend on the individual watch.
Share existing service records and known issues. There is no need to arrange work solely for an enquiry without discussing it with us first.
Choose the next step for your collection
If you would prefer another watch instead of an outright sale, discuss a trade-in. Share the listing you are considering so we can review both sides of the enquiry.
Visit Mid Valley Megamall or Berjaya Times Square after confirming the details with our team.
Frequently asked questions
How do I start a selling enquiry?
Send us the brand, model, reference number, condition and items included, along with clear photos. Photos help start the conversation; a final assessment depends on inspecting the individual watch.
Do I need the original box and papers?
Tell us exactly which items you have. Box, papers and accessories are considered as part of the assessment. Ask us about your particular watch; eligibility can only be confirmed for that piece.
Is an estimate from photos a final offer?
No. Any indication based on photos is preliminary. A final offer and transaction terms depend on in-person inspection and agreement.
How long does a watch sale take?
Timing depends on the watch and assessment. We will discuss the steps and expected timing with you before you decide whether to proceed.
